Hello!
I’m Dele, an estate planning attorney-turned-Legacy Coach, and I’m very passionate about helping busy, high-achieving professionals and families have a clearer, more approachable experience with estate planning. My specialty is bringing a little more lightness to serious topics and making them easier to understand, talk about, and act on.
I know estate planning can feel like a lot, especially when life is already full. You’ve worked hard building a life around the people you love, you’ve created a lot that’s worth protecting, and you’ve already made many responsible decisions along the way.
But protecting what you’ve built takes more than good intentions or even signed documents. It takes being intentional about how your plan, the people involved, and the important details all fit and work together over time. And because gaps between those pieces can be harder to see and coordinate than most people realize, they’re often easy to miss until the plan is actually needed.
Through my years in estate planning practice, and in the years that followed, I kept seeing the same problem. While putting the essential estate planning documents in place is of utmost importance, getting those documents prepared and signed does not always mean your plan is complete. Families can still be left dealing with confusion, delays, extra legal costs, or people who are unsure what to do when the time comes.
That is why I created Legacies Matter: to equip you to do more so your plan feels more complete, works the way you intend, and gives you true peace of mind, knowing your loved ones have something they can confidently rely on when it matters most.
